CHRISTA JYOTI MISSION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, BEOHARI

Praise God for blessing us with one more year, in which lord almighty helped us to work gracefully for his glory and honor. We thank him for his help and support to organize many activities this year. With great pleasure, I present here the annual report of the academic session 2016-2017. The school has 950 plus students with a total of 45 Teaching and Non-Teaching staff who serve in the school.

We always had a holistic development approach of our students. In addition to our efforts we have imparted quality education. We provide equal importance to extracurricular activities like cultural programs, value education, sports, physical education, personality development etc.

As always, this year was also filled with lot of activities and celebrations. We appreciate the support and encouragement of our staff, students and their parents.

Here is the review of few activities and achievements:-

ACTIVITIES

“Teachers are also learners” in present era they need to be updated,staying updated is the key to success in any field of education. This year also we organized a workshop for teachers in Christa Jyoti mission higher secondary school for two days (11th& 12th June 2016)under the leadership of Rev.Sajesh Mathews. And the topic was educational psychology. This workshop helped the teachers to equip themselves and to face the challenges from the class rooms.

Opening day

On 15th June 2016 we had opening day celebration for our students, and the guest for the day was honorable Judge Mr.Rakesh Kumar Pattidar and BEO Mr.Manjunath Sharma, BRC Mr.Manoj Gupta shared the encouraging words with the students.

Karate Class

 We have karate class which is under the leadership ofMr. JohnPeter (Black Belt) & Mr.Suraj Singh (Black Belt), Jabalpur. This year students have received different colour belts according to their levels,and they also took part in karate tournament which was conducted by state karate association.

School Parliament

Student’s council was elected by the class representatives from 1st -12th classes, in order to choose the school leader and deputy leader. With the guidance of principal the school selected the school leader as Ms.Prasasthy Tiwari and the deputy leader as Mr.Saif Ansari.

Independence Day celebration

We celebrated Independence Day in our school, in which we had flag hosting by our guests Mr.Sarad Kol (Zillahpan. Member), Sr.Gracy Varghese (Sihora) and Vimal Chand (Manager CBI) and followed by programs by our students. And we had volley ball tournament (Boys v/s Teachers), kho-kho tournament (Girls v/s lady teachers).

 

Gram Jyoti sports Olympiad 2016.

 This year we had Gram Jyoti sports in our Christa Jyoti Mission Higher Secondary school on sep 29th, 30thand 1st of Oct. we had more than 600 athletes participated in this Olympiad, The chief guest of this Olympiad was Rt.Rev.Gregorios Mar Stephanos Episcopa, and Mr. Rajesh Singh (Block panchayath president),by the grace of God our school students were able to be win Dr.Alexander Marthoma Memorial ever rolling trophy of 2016, and it is the great achievement by our students that they are winners for last three years.

Quiz competition

Three of our students Ku.Rashi Singh, Ku.Divya Shukla, Ku. Ojaswi Gupta participated in state level quiz competition organized by MP tourism Development Corporation on Sep 25th. And CJMS team were the district winners in shahdol.

PTA Meeting

As usual this year also we conducted the PTA meetings on (Nov 17th and on Dec 3rd) to review the activities of our school and the academic progress of the students. In which parent’s feedback are considered. Principal led the meeting and gave an inspiring speech about the importance of education to assure active participation of parents in discussion.

Seminar

 On Dec 17th 2016 our girl’s students got a chance to participate in “Women’s educational Awareness” seminar.Which was conducted by Christu Kula mission Women’s College, Satna.

Christmas Program

This year also we celebrated Christmas on 23rd Dec 2016 and the chief guest for the day was Fr.Sino Antony Principal of D Paul English Medium School, Rewa. He gave a meaningful message to all and later followed by the children programs.

Republic Day

We celebrated Republic day, in which the flag hosting was done by Principal .After the program we had Tug of war for teachers, (boys v/s teachers) and (girl’s v/s lady teachers)

Results

“Success is dependent on effort and success is the sum of the small efforts”.We are glad to say that our students of 10th and 12th who appeared for board examination passed in flying colors. We achieved 100%results with 4th rank in state for master. Vivek Kumar Patel (Class12th).

To congratulate the student for their excellent performance the award ceremony was hosted by the school management and staff on 29thth September 2016.and our tirumeni Rt.Rev.Gregorios Mar Stephanos Epsicopa, awarded the student.

Facilities The most important space for our students is children’s park, in which our students especially our primary kids enjoy playing there. We also have Meditation center, in which staff and children spend time to meditate there.

Students Picnic

We had one day picnic for our students at Deojad.  In which our CJMS and Forest department jointly organized it and there was a discussion about the environment, the topic for the discussion was eco-tourism trip.

Annual Day Celebration:

Christa Jyoti Mission Higher Secondary School celebrated it’s 17th Annual day program “SPECTRUM 2017” on 7 February 2017 with Lot of Enthusiasm, vibration and Elation to instill positive values and recognize talents of children through a array of Entertaining programs.

The event was Inaugurated by Chief Guest Rt. Rev. Gregorios Mar Stephanos Episcopa. The Local MLA. Mr. Rampal Singh and many Leaders from this region attended and blessed this programme with their presence.

The cultural program began with our Talented Buddies of Nursery to XII, who exhibited their talents through their performances

The Thousands of Audience Enthralled by the programe. They appreciated the theme of the Annual day and school’s effort to spread awareness.

The day ended with every glittering star carrying a feeling of happiness and achievement with in itself     

Conclusion

As we look back it was a year of immense Grace from almighty, who enabled us all to stand with the challenges, Who helped us to step in to the new academic year. By the Grace of God we seek his blessing to meet the upcoming challenges.
