Schools: Christa Jyoti Mission School, Beohari, Madhya Pradesh

A humble beginning in the year 2000 by the visionary missionaries gave birth to Christa Jyoti Mission Higher Secondary School in Beohari. The school is under the Mar Thoma Gram Jyoti Education & Development Society. 

The school is one of the leading and reputed English medium schools in Shahdol division. It has now grown upto XII Standard with a strength of 900-plus students. Studies are facilitated with Smart Classes. It follows the CBSE patterned curriculum from Nursery itself. It has students in Science,  Mathematics and Commerce streams in +2 classes. 

The school is committed to ensuring the holistic development of its students and make them educated citizens of the country with a good value system.

The teaching and learning in the Christa Jyoti happens in a most caring and purposeful way.

The school provides free education to economically weaker section students as per the provisions of the Right to Education (RTE) Act. It now provides 34 students free education under the scheme.

About 30 students belonging to financially weaker sections are availing of scholarships, with the only criterion that they have to score good marks in their examinations.

Achievement based scholarship is also granted to students who excel in
studies. Scholarship at 25, 10, 5 percentage cut in total fees were granted to meritorious students.

Students were introduced to various competitions at the national level. Twelve students of IX – XII were able to clear the prelims of the Olympiad (Finance).
