Schools: Delhi Mar Thoma Public School, Pamgarh, Janjgir District, Chhattisgarh

The school is situated in a village named Pamgarh of Janjgir district in Chhattisgarh. Most of the students are from an agrarian background. There is no other English medium school in the vicinity of the village.

The school has a strength of 346 students from Nursery to Class III.

Seven teachers, evangelists and a missionary are working in the school. We have still not got affiliation from the CBSE for the school due to the lack of adequate infrastructure and other requirements.  for its functioning. Attempts are continuing to get affiliation.

The greatest challenge before the Mission is to construct a building for the
school in this academic year itself.

It is a matter of great joy and pride that the Diocesan Episcopa Rt Rev. Dr Abraham Mar Paulos Thirumeni took the pain of coming and seeing the proceedings of the school. The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the proposed school was conducted by Thirumeni on November 5, 2012.

Lack of quality teachers is a huge challenge that we are facing. Thanks to the  school, the Mission has built a strong attachment with the community around.

Rev Sunil B Zachariah serves as the Administrator.
