Christukula Mission Higher Secondary School, Satna

The Academic year 2016-17 was indeed an eventful year which started on the 17th of March, 2016 with 3342 students. The main highlights of the academic year include the sad demise of one of the class VI student who became a victim of the flood in August, 2016. The formation of the students forum, assignment of house in-charges, their oath taking ceremony was yet another event to be highlighted during the year. The school also bid audieu to a few teachers and welcomed a few in their place. A total of 104 teachers are on the roll. Very Rev. Dr. C. A. Varghese, the Principal, Mrs. Suma Varghese, Academic Vice-Principal, and Rev. Koshy Kurian, Administrative Vice-Principal rendered their services in the said positions in addition to various other teachers serving as in-charges and heads of various departments in the school. Several seminars and conferences were held during the academic year. The selection of the School for ATAL Tinkering Lab Project and the introduction of ARDUINO Robbotics class was a major milestone and a feather to the cap for Christukula Misison School during the course. Moreover, the school was selected as the centre for ICSE and ISC Valuation. Several tournaments, sports and cultural competitions, and competitive examinations also were held during the course of the year in which the students exhibited their innate potentials in the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular fields. The attendance of our Principal for the ASISC Conference in Lucknow, and him being chosen as one of the best 100 Principals was also one of the major highlights during the year. Various celebrations like Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers Day, Farewell to class XII students and the like added colour to the academic year. All the dignitaries and chief guests who visited the school were acknowledged. With a promise to keep and be a part of the Swach Bharat Mission, the school looks forward to the new academic year with new dreams, aspirations and many more milestones to cover.
