“The unique and unprecedented initiative by Bishop Mar Joseph Barnabas of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church in an attempt to make a comprehensive documentary has finally borne rich fruit for all to see. The four and half years of research, filming and editing put into 2 hours and 40 minutes of the documentary with scenic shots on the one hand and some touching shots of the social involvement of the Mar Thoma Church has come out brilliantly well. Conceptualized and directed by Rev. Geo George SVD, who has 131 films to his credit, the film deals with the historical background of the Malankara Church and its journey of deep faith and commitment on the one hand and the various missionary activities of this rather miniscule community on the other.

All in all, after viewing the film, one can genuinely exclaim in wonderment ‘My Lord and my God’, for, besides the rich and beautiful demonstration of the Mar Thoma Community, the film is not only inspires but along the way, also deepens one’s own faith.”
