There are three schools functioning under the aegis of the St. Thomas Educational and Welfare Society, Indore and the total strength of the schools is 5160. Mr.Raji Thomas has been serving as the Secretary and Mr. Sunil Thomas as the treasurer of the Society.
Mar Thoma Higher Secondary School, Sukhliya:
The Mar Thoma Hr. Sec. School, Sukhliya is one of the prestigious Higher Secondary Schools in the city of Indore, affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi (Estd. 1987). It imparts quality education to the students from Nursery to XII standard, with the motto “The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Rev. Blysu Varghese has been serving as the Manager of the three schools and Rev. Josy J has been functioning as the Senior Principal and Mr. Joy Varghese as the Principal. The new Academic Session of 2016-17 was commenced on 1st April 2016 with the total strength of 3200. The dedicated and efficient team of 88 teaching and 38 non- teaching staff strived to give their best to all the 3200 students of the school.
Mar Thoma Public School, Indore:
The Mar Thoma Public School, Indore is the sister institutions managed by the Society. The new session 2016-2017 of the Mar Thoma Public School started on July 1, 2016. Total strength was 1042 from Nursery to XII. There is 38 teaching and 16 non – teaching staff offering their services to the school. Rev. Blysu Varghese serves as the Manager, Rev. Josy J serves as the Senior Principal and Mrs. Sheenu Thomas as the Principal.
The Mar Thoma Academy:
The Mar Thoma Academy is the new modern campus, & it started functioning in the academic year 2015 – 16. The Campus was inaugurated on 5th Feb 2015. The motto of the school is “Thy word is light to my path”. The school would be affiliated to the CBSE. The school offers admission from Nursery to class 8th. The Academic Session of 2015-16 commenced on 1st April 2015 with the total strength of 920 students. The school was functioning with a team of 39 teaching and 12 non- teaching staff. Rev Blysu Varghese serves as the Manager, Rev. Josy J serves as Senior Principal and Mrs. Girija V. Menon as the Principal.
Mr. Abraham Joseph has been serving as the treasurer of the Mar Thoma Schools. Mr. Philip George was functioning as the convenor of the Mar Thoma Hr. Sec. School and Mar Thoma Academy and Mr. C. J. Abraham, the convenor of Mar Thoma Public School.
